Winnebago County Board of Health Institutes Four (4) Furlough Days
To address the ongoing budget impasse and its impact on the Winnebago County Health Department, the Winnebago County Board of Health instituted four (4) furlough days for all agency personnel for fiscal year 2016 (April 1, May 27, July 1, and September 2, 2016). The Winnebago County Board of Health is engaged in ongoing review and development of responses to address the budget impasse while maintaining its commitment to positive stewardship of public funds to support public health.
