They also conduct Well and Septic System Evaluations for the saWell Waterle of homes with private systems ("Loan Inspections"), inspect complaints regarding failing systems, inspect septic pumper trucks, and conduct plat reviews for subdivisions without municipal sewer water.

LOAN INSPECTIONS are often required by a mortgage or banking institution when issuing a loan for a property on a private well and/or septic system. Loan Inspections performed by the WCHD take approximately 7-10 business days to complete once an application and payment are submitted.

SITE VERIFICATIONS identify the location of private well and septic systems when new construction will be taking place. This helps ensure that the new construction won't encroach or otherwise affect the existing water or sewage systems. Site verifications are required for any property with a private well or septic system when conducting work that requires a building permit, however Site Verifications are useful while planning other building or landscaping projects as well. Site Verifications take approximately 3-5 business days to complete once an application and payment are submitted.

All forms for well and septic services must be submitted with an original signature and with payment. Payment can now be accepted on-line through Illinois E-pay. Forms for these services can be found here.
